Even dell is giving Zune 30 with $100 instant rebate at $96 as of today 11/25 (for just the Zune 30 Brown). I am not sure whats there in the color that Zune 30 brown is dirt cheap whereas everyother color (pink, black and white) are selling at $196 atleast at dell.com. Here’s the link:

These are really good prices. Too bad I already have a Zune 30. I got as a Christmas present when it first came out a year ago.

doogald, I was thinking the same. I have read in some blogs that people were able to grab some for as low as $70. I just want to see the new Zune 80 in person before making the jump?

The fear is that when that becomes available we won’t get these low prices. Come to think of it when 80 becomes available if people jump on 80, the demand for 30s willl drop and it may get even cheaper. Arrrrrggggghhh, I am going crazy.

320 kbs, Does it really make that much of a difference? I will have to rip some of my cds and see how the sounds changes. I really didn’t notice the difference well maybe thats because I have never ripped any cd at that rate. But I will give it a try sometime soon and see how it sounds.

Thanks for the idea now I am curious.

Boy, at that price, maybe I should go for it. I can keep my Nano for exercising but use a Zune to carry (most of) my library. I just went through a two week process of ripping all of our CDs into 320 kbs MP3s (I keep the Nano stuff at 128 kbs AACs, just to fit more), and I should be able to grab just about everything this way.
