Don’t Trust Website Inventories…
Posted by Chris Leckness on 11/20/07Saturday, I was on the way out to get some things. I decided to glance at Circuit City in my town. None. I was going there anyhow... Guess what, there was 1.
Today, Wal Mart's beta inventory checker online. None in my town. I go there to get the Home A/V Kit. What do you know, they had one. I bought it. I had already bought an extra for our contest, but decided to snatch up an extra.
I am reading everywhere that they are sold out everywhere, but inventory checks on websites in areas still show them out there.

Jesus, Chris how many Zunes is that for you? But I agree with you cause I have not seen a single Zune 80 in ANY of the stores in my area although they have tons of the 4/8 but they always tell me they have the 80 but when I get there NONE… I just wanna see it in person and not over the internet dang. I guess I will have to wait a little longer for the stores to ACTUALLY get some in. People these days they will tell you anything to get you to come into the store… How many Zunes it that for you Chris 4-6? I envy you? lol

Maybe you could give away another Zune with the extra Zune you have.
Or maybe you can sell it off on eBay. There I saw a Zune 80 being sold for about $400
I used to work at a major retail chain and inventory was always wrong. Customer would get very upset with us, but there was not much we could do.
Another thing I hated was people would look at the site and see the next week’s ad early. They always wanted those prices but we couldn’t honor them.
Looks like Zune 80s are becoming more common. Hopefully this means I`ll be able to get one this Christmas

Hmm, thats suspicious. I sort of feel bad for anyone in your area…They can’t find any Zunes accesories. Haha. And theres a Wal-mart Beta inventory checker? *gasps* Im checking mine just because…Hehe.
I really am going to go over to the Best buy by my school and see if they have any of the Zune 80 cause I really wanna see one of these things in my hand.

what is that 7 new zunes, you lucky man.. I still do not have a zune thirty it broke, so if anyone wants to donate a zune to a long time zuneless man post a comment. BUt yeah tarket said they had 80’s went there today they had 00000-00
Man that looks killer, the gold is sweet on the back, does anyone know if you can choose the colour of the back, or is that just the artwork that makes it look gold.
I wish I could find one period hopefully I will win the 80 tonight that would stops searchs
Gamestop list the Zune 80 as being sold out and back ordered.
I just check Overstock.com and they dont have the 80 either.
strange. I use to work at Best Buy and as we received products they went into the computer and inventory was updated in real time.
that means, that zune was missing in the inventory all together and would come up as a loss if it was lifted.
