My battery life is better after the update! YAY. I thought complete discharge was bad for Li-ion Batteries?

I have never had a issue with this.; I upgraded as soon as the new firmware came out and the battery life has been as good as it was before the update.

I have noticed this "issue" with a lot of rechargable items. That has happened to me and my wife's cell phones. Let it totally die and then charge fully. It stays charged longer like it should.

I can see how this solution could work. The firmware works on a variety of hardware, so to "see" where your battery is at it needs to run through a full charge cycle. I'm not sure if that makes technical sense, but theoretically (at least to me) there's some logic in the concept.
