Leo Laporte talks about the "much improved Zune 2"
Posted by Chris Leckness on 11/27/07He doesn't really like the "Squirtle" or whatever they were calling it, but he gives his review of the Flash Zune. Someone forgot to tell him it's called the Zunepad. He also talked about the wireless sync has to be wired anyway myth.

I thought Leo would like the new Zune b/c of the Podcast feature. Since Audible is one of Leo’s sponsors, I think once the Zune supports that format, Leo will like it even more.
i listened to this 2 days ago.
Just to get Leo’s opinion. Kevin Rose liked all the new features, like sync and podcasts.
I dont see whats not to like about the new zune..so this isnt surprising at all

For some reason it didn’t quite seem like he knew what he was talking about at times…
Decent review I guess…
Leo keeps calling the Zunepad - squircle in most of his podcasts. Squircle was an internal name. Microsoft later renamed it the Zunepad. Overall a big change in his opinion from last year which is good news for Zune.
LOL… Microsoft didn’t event the squircle, or the term “Squircle”. It’s an actual shape…

They make it sound like they created the shape/word. Sounds like they were just desperate to find something to ridicule about it. Being that’s it’s actually quite stylish now.
Generally positive review though, which is almost a complete 180 to where Leo stood last year. About a 175.
Question:Would anyone here have preferred the name squircle to zunepad?
According to the new poll: very few would.
