No Yellow Zune for You
Posted by Chris Leckness on 11/14/07Well, unless you are a Zune Team Member. Remember the orange and magenta Zunes with the Zune 1 launch? Well, these Citron (or yellow) Zunes are in that unique category.
Any Zune Team Member want to sell theirs? Call me! Tyler has my number.
Anyhow, ZuneGuy has the official word on these...
I've seen a few posts today about the Yellow (or Citron) Zunes. I've also seen a lot of speculation as to whether this is a "hidden" product. I'll shed a little light on this. They do exist. They are the ship-gifts given to the team for launching the product. Just like last year when we gave out Magenta and Orange devices, these are a special run just for us. There you have it, mystery solved.
P.S. I have to say, I really, really like mine. Good job manufacturing team!

I have to admit, the citron Zune looked pretty cool, but the current color selection is still pretty solid. I like the green one myself.
I like the color choices, but I wish they had included some kind of blue. The yellow does look nice though
I agree blue would have been awesome. I wonder why they did not do a white this time around.
yeah white and blue would have been cool. I wonder what they will do for the special edetion zunes or colors, well its zune, they have always pulled something sick out of ther sleve

Hmm, not a fan of that yellow color. It is unique I’ll give em that. I actually like how their colors arent really colors- The green is more of a brown/green and the black kinda has Blue tones to it. I love that. Makes it all the more unique/interesting.
