After spending a few hours with the Flash Zunes now, I have one thing to say about the Zune Pad, IT'S NICE!!!
When you 1st try to use it, you WILL be spastic. I promise. After some practice, you can scroll with pinpoint accuracy. When you 1st try it, you'll miss where you want to be by 2-4 items.
Sometimes the Zune Pad thinks that I am pressing up or down instead of center press. That's the only issue i've had and this will probably be just a "get used to it" deal.
Over all, it's a huge improvement over the Zune 30. I don't like the noise that the Zune Pad makes when you click. I am not talking about the audio noise, I am talking about the mechanical "click" sound. I wish they could have made it silent.

I was watching the video and it looked like it would take a little getting use-to. But thats ok I hate that damn wheel that the Ipods have cause I am always over shooting the item I want. When you clicked on some of the menus I did notice that its a little moisy but I also notice that on the other videos so I dont know how I feel about it. Its kind of a I dont care thing but when you in a quite room full of people trying to work(like a library since I am in one now) It might annoy other people if you are close enough. But other then that it look like a beauty.

Is there any way to tap the pad to make it accept your selection silently? Like you would on a built-in laptop mouse?
It’s nice to see the Zune Pad is a good control method. Touch sensitivty has always been kind of iffy for me due to the inaccuracy. If it really is pinpoint like you say, I have to try using one of these. That sounds super cool.
Hahaha, Yeah I know what you mean, Even from videos it sounded like my old LJ phone typeing in a number. Hehe
I nice what type of texture does that thing of buity have
I have as yet to try the Zune pad. Im really eager to try it out.
