How funny... Manu, a subscriber to the Diggnation podcast, sent in a photo of a Zune Pancake that he made.
Anyhow, that is not the point... The main thing is that the guys talk about Zune 2 for a couple minutes at the 51:00 mark. Alex tells how much he likes the Zune 2 and Kevin shows his Apple bliss not understanding all that the Zune can do. He is going to give the Zune 2 a try.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by ‘Kevin shows his Apple bliss’, but I do recall that in an older episode when the Zune 2 was being released (it was one of the shows in London), they were discussing the firmware updates to the Zune 30, and Kevin admitted both that the Zune sounded very cool and that the software/functionality update was something that Apple really just wouldn’t do.
He’s a fanboy, but he’s not wearing blinders.
That was a pretty good segment on the Zune even though it was only a few minutes. It seemed like Kevin was pleasantly surprised at what the Zune does. That’s the problem right now. A majority of people don’t know anything or enough about the Zune. Everyone is so IPod driven, that they don’t bother to look at anything else. As soon as more people learn about the Zune, I’m sure it will gain a lot of momentum.
Ah I need to watch that episode (On my Zune)
People are starting to recognize that the Zune is a viable product and worthy of at least a test drive, of course..Commercials that actually air on alot of channels and actually feature the device’s functions would probably help people :/
What I mean by Kevin’s Apple Bliss is that, even though he had talked about it before, he didn’t know much about the features of the Zune 2. Alex would mention something and he was like, "oh, it can do that?". I don’t expect him to know the Zune inside and out at all though.
I love the pancake!!! How cool!!!
I wanted to let everyone know that I will be posting pictures of my Pink Zune4 from Zune Originals.
I was very lucky to win one from:

I am soooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats Heatwave316!! Hope to see the pics soon.
Interesting video . . . and pancake.
@Heatwave316 : Nice man!!!Hope 2008 has lots and lots of great things for you
Btw as to what was said above about people being so ipod frenzy, not even bothering to study any other product out there thus failing to see what a great device Zune is and what an even better device it can be,sites like this one could be the answer.MS fails to create the hype that Zune not only needs, but also deserves, so i guess it’s on our shoulders [i mean us the users] to do that
I may have been unable to convince my friends to make the Zune their primary media player, but they surely went out and bought it and some of them, even having kept ipod touch and iphone as their primary device they’d have the flash based zune over the new nano everyday.
ps:the 4 gig zune is really a must have.Starting from its design, going to its amazing sound and video quality and ending to its built quality it’s prolly one of the most well constructed devices ever to come out,not to mention the sexiest
well those pancakes look good. But the problem is everyone knows and trusts ipod. Heck i do thats all i have but am in the contest to win a zune. I am kind of unhappy with my 2nd gen ipod nano. The zune has video and lots of other stuff the nano doesnt. But pc world says the new nano wins hands down over zune 4&8 but zune 80 wins over the ipod classic. I think they are about right. maybe. i really dont know cause i havent seen the zune 4&8 in real life. so im kind of on the fence on that one.
