Red Zune… In the nick of time
Posted by Chris Leckness on 02/13/08Ok, so I got the Zune in today FINALLY. The blank one I ordered for a friend showed up last week, but mine with the gotzune.com engraving had not arrived until today. Just in time for Valentine's Day.
So, let me rant a moment though. Let's say I got this for my girlfriend... I want to load up some songs and such before I give it to her... I have to rush tonight to get it all done. That sucks really. If this were intended for this purpose, I would like to have time to prepare it and all.
I guess I am just lucky to get it in time anyhow, right? Do I get free stuff? Who knows. When I get home in a few hours, I will get right to playing and throw out some photos and video!

Well, that’s an awesome gift, i’m sure she’ll love it, too bad you didn’t receive it for free, although I guess it’s still good you received it before the big day.

Chris, did you get a credit from MS on this? I got my girlfriend’s Red Zune 80 on the 10th…I gave it to her yesterday[12th] because I told her she could have her gift early if she wanted it, and she did…she was very surprised and she loves it a lot. Hopefully you’ll have the unboxing video up soon.

@Soccerfreak: They’re V-day Zunes…so if he was buying a V-day Zune for his girlfriend it would have barely made it…but he wasn’t buying one for a girlfriend…he was just hypothetically speaking…
