I bought it as a temporary case to use until something like a Showcase or other similar case comes out the the Zune. It actually protects the zune from scratches while still maintaining the transparency to display my zune original tattoo. Its a pity though that the invisible shield makes the zune look extremely shiny and kinda ipod like. I hate that. I think a lot of us would rather comparison shop and find the one case we want rather than spending $50 as a temporary measure. I have left my Zune 80 at home sometimes and taken the Zune 30 since it has a case..... I guess ANY case is better than NO case..... It's just a shame there aren't more available!!
