I got the Zune Originals Zune 80 the first day it was available, and it arrived within a few days. Like Tim, it was about four days. I was pleasantly surprised.

The Zune shipment is moving pretty fast. In no time it was shipped from one part of China to the other, probably on bicycle cause it took 24 hours. It came into the US via Alaska, jumped to Indiana, now its sitting somewhere between Tennessee and here… Yeah!!! Less than 1,500 miles to go. It should be here by next week Wed.

The engraving, probably takes no more then an hour, id say 30min…these arnt hand ingravings, then ingrave the plate and slap it on the zune you bought.

hey it comes pretty fast.
i got my zune replaced and they shipped it from china.
Im sure your order will take longer making, rather than shipping. For shipment for mine it took about 4days from CHINA!! they ship fedex express but im concerned about the order that you made. It possibly might take them a while to engrave since Microsoft is always in a slow motion..

well, ceasar has said and its also been repeated many times that the marketplace wont come to canada until later this year :(….the canadain website is actually up and fully functional as far as i can tell, for a while i couldnt make a zune card or anything but for the last little bit ive been able to. So in the last month ive gone from using my registerd USA hotmail accouint to my candain hotmail account seamlessly, i notice no differencem exceopt for the missing marketplace tab in the software.
i cant wait for them to hit stores, i need to replace my premium headphones…2 more days!

Thanks for the Congrats Phil. I’m waiting for the Canadian release too, trying to find out any information I can. I want to see what will be the differences between the US and CAN software or website features.

congrats on the purchase. Me being in canada, i had my brother in law in North Carolina order the zune 80 orignal the day the 80 gb orignal site would allow orders to be takin. I remeber fedex said it would arrivr two tuesdays after that date….it arrived a whole 7 days early….lets hope you get some of that speedy service eh! 2 days till canadian launch….time for some socialing with others (i hope)
