OK, so I have to admit that I am disappointed that there is not a blue color choice for the Zune 120 or even the Zune 80. It is cool that they made a Zune 8 in blue, but I can't use an 8GB player so it does me no good. I would unbox it and all that good crap, but someone already has and... well, you've seen an 8gb Zune, so why bother eh?
Well, because of the fact that it does me no good, I am going to throw mine to one of you Mardi Gras style. Just post a comment here on this post and you are entered to win. Since these blue ones aren't "supposed" to be available for purchase yet, I will get this one out pretty quick. We'll make it a quick contest. Deadline will be September 12th at 3pm CST.
I currently own 7 Zunes and I have give away 10-12 across my sites, and now I have this one. This 8gb Blue Zune the 1st Zune that I didn't pay for. This one is the only one Microsoft has provided me and will probably be the last.
So, just leave a comment and cross your fingers on September 12th, 2008. Make sure your email address is reachable. The prize is only an unopened Blue 8gb Zune. No service is included.

I love the blue but I agree MS should have offered up this color on the 120/80GB Zune. Still, I wouldn’t mind winning this bad boy.
Some would say the color came from a Crayola box, but my, is that royal shade of blue sexy on the little bugger! It’s almost retro-looking, somehow.

@Jaxim Thanks man. Yeah, I want a Blue Zune for myself, but I need a larger capacity. Finally getting a blue one in the 8gb size and not the 120 or 80gb is really quite bittersweet and really pisses me off. I can’t understand why they can’t have a 120gb when they have an 8gb version. It just doesn’t make any damn sense.
If i put it under my pillow, will the Zune Fairy replace it with a 120 GB model? ah well… worth a try. Id gladly take it off your hands for you.

@Chris Did you try asking zune team about this? Was there any sort of reasoning? I can’t imagine why you couldn’t make the zune 120 or zune 16 blue.

Ooh. The blue color looks pretty cool. It’s like an electric blue that really pops out. This 3.0 update is pretty cool, with the multiple different ways to discover new music! Great use of the wi-fi too.

Chris, I have to tell you. I have a 30 GB Video iPod right now but I really like what Microsoft has been doing lately with the Zune. As a broke college student, I would love to try out the Zune platform but really can’t afford to at this point.

I’m glad they are upgrading the firmware and software. All of it for free too! I like that the new blue color isn’t a dark blue instead its a bright intense blue.

I love the new wi-fi features that were announced for the new zunes and i cant wait to get my hands on one.
i had 6 different ipods and they all broke on me so when my warrantee ran out i went and bought a zune 30. it gave mo no problems and now i am the proud owner of a zune 80 and i have not had to take it to customer service once. Zune > iPod!

Oh man this is gonna be hard. Well I really would love one of these Zunes because i’m a high-tech chick who comes from Australia who unfortunatly cannot get her hands on a Zune at all.
I know theres gonna be heaps of people going for this, but i’m crossing my fingers. I created an online petition this time last year to try and get the Zune to be released worldwide, so far its only reached 800 signatures and despite all the emails to Microsoft they still can’t comment.

I have a 1st gen ipod nano right now, but I’m thinking of getting an upgrade. The zunes are starting to look pretty tempting and I’d love to have one. Also, blue is my favorite color!

I’d love to have a flash zune to take with me on mountain bike rides - my zune 80 might be absolutely wonderful 99% of the time, but taking a hard-drive based mp3 player for a mountain bike ride is a recipe for disaster. They need more colors then just the black for the 120. Hope blue will be the next one.
I agree about the lack of 80/120 colors, but this is perfect for my beloved daughter. She loves blue, and has no reason for anything bigger really. I mean how many Kidz Bop CDs are there anyways?

I think they should have all the colors available for all the models. But i think that they cant because they dont sell enough units, and when they do then they can have different colors for all the models.

I never have a mp3 player, my parents won’t buy me one nor can we really afford a good one. I really wish I win b/c I feel left out not having a mp3 player. Sometimes, I just feel like an outcast.
