Very few updates for me the next couple days, I am at the Zune building in Redmond today with some fellow Zune enthusiasts.
We have myself (gotzune.com), Patrick Heffner from Zune Tracks, Jason Dunn from Zune Thoughts, Graham Skee, owner of AnythingbutiPod, Drea from Generation Zune, Harvey Chute from Zunerama, Mike Fosmire (Zune MVP Lead), Gary Wilson (Business Group Lead), Paul Colligan the podcast guru and owner of Zuneluv, Nevelle Williams (solar257), Stephan Shipman from Ihaveazune, Cesar Menendez (Zune Insider), and several Zune team members presenting. (Jessica Zahn, Dave Jones, and more).
Not much to share right now, but we are providing input to the Zune team and being briefed on upcoming changes that are no doubt exciting. And yes, this photos was taken with an iPhone.

Chris,
Where does variable speed playback stand? Is it even on the roadmap…
I listen to dozens of podcasts each week and listen to them faster than real time on my ipaq 2210 and PocketPlayer, rather than my Zune.
I’ll ask about this.
PLease ask about futhrer marketplace rollout like in CANADA!
What about being able to get more than the song from Zune Marketplace: I want the lyrics, the story of the band, the video clip of the song. Especially the LYRICS would differentiate a lot from a free mp3
Also, ask about Musiwave, the music marketplace they bought in France… Any plan with it? http://www.musiwave.net/
when will the software update be available?! cant wait!!!
Now that the press release just hit the wire, I can say… Sept 16th.
I’m sure Microsoft just loves that their employees are using Mac books…(left of center in photo)
what is pretty funny is that, besides the 3 Zune MVPs that had iPhones in the meetings today, I saw more than 10 other iPhones in the Zune building today.
It is very obvious that the photo was taken with an iPhone because it is such bad quality!!
