Yes, you read right. There is a portable zune software available now, thanks to the work of Lucifer at ZuneBoards. He did say it might require .NET framework and other general updates. I myself have yet to test it (downloading now. its a 250mb file) but will leave a review in the comments.

So, does the portable zune app work? If so, where can I get it? I followed umisguy’s link on ZuneBoards to FileFront, but the file (ZuneP.rar) isn’t there. Any help?
I would think that it would be useful for using the Zune software in non-WGA certified Windows installations. The Zune software will not install on a version of XP that hasn’t been damn near completely updated for every goobery patch.
