Well, the new blue/red zune 120's didn't last very long. For anyone that has been to www.zuneoriginals.net , you may have noticed that they have taken off much of their color selection. Heres what their down to:
Zune 4: Black/Pink
Zune 8: Green/Pink/Red/Black/Blue
Zune 16: Green/Pink/Red/Black/Blue
Zune 80: Red/Black
Zune 120: Black
The question is, is this true? Could these removed colors have simply sold out of stock, or is this just an error? Hopefully it gets worked out soon, with Christmas just around the corner.
UPDATE: The 8/16 models can now be purchased in every color once more!

NO!!!!!!!
I wanted a blue 120gb!
yea this is a really stupid idea for microsoft….
I just posted a post on my blog with another spin on this story.
I hope this color removal isn’t true. I really, really, REALLY want a blue 120.
It is true, but I think they are coming out with new ones in Jan of next year.
I find this a stupid idea by the people at microsoft.
It’s a good decision people!
Are we talking new models, like a touch Zune??? I haven’t heard that rumor. i must be out of the loop.
im not sure if its still ther but most if not all of the colors are back on zune originals!!!!
As I learned the hard way, Zune Originals are for suckers. If you have a limited-edition model that breaks down, they will only replace it with a standard model of the same capacity. So my $400 investment ($447 with tax and shipping) in a Joy Division Zune left me with a lame-o 80 gig model that you could buy anywhere for half of what I paid. While I preferred the Zune to the iPod, I won’t be buying another Zune after Microsoft refused to give me any sort of partial refund.
