Meet the new ZN9, the world’s first clock radio for Zune. The ZN9 features several innovative solutions, including wake and sleep to your Zune™ music or AM/FM radio presets, a 7-5-2 feature for separate weekday and weekend alarm times, and an extra large, backlit LCD display with dimmer.
With our Reson8 speaker chambers, you’ll be able to enjoy stereo sound around the clock. The new ZN9… treat yourself and your Zune right.
Since the Zune 2 launched, we have seen some great items come out for the Zune 2, but there has not been a ton of cases. Belkin is changing that. Thanks Belkin.
Before we delve into the sharing of this review by Zunerama, let me share my feelings about the price. I will prelude this by saying that I have enough coin to splurge on my tech toys, but no way in hell I am going to spend $350 bones on a dock/speaker set up. Sorry Kicker. I know from experience that you guy have some great car audio products, but come now... $350 for this. Wow. (for the record, I prefer JL Audio for my auto audio needs)
So, anyhow... Thanks to Zune Boards for pointing me to a review at Zunerama...
We're pleased to see Kicker enter the Zune stereo market with this compelling stereo system. We're awarding the ZK500 our "Recommended by Zunerama" rating.
It looks like they have adapters for all the Zune models and they are reporting that the sound is not distorted at higher volumes. That's good.
Well, to read the review, head over to Zunerama or head over to Kicker for more info.
A few weeks ago, I told everyone about some new products added to Proporta's lineup for the Flash Zunes (4gb and 8gb). I decided to give them a look and here they are...
Proporta sends word that they have new Zune 2 protection available. There is a screen protector, a leather/aluminum flip case, and a cond... I mean silicone case.
Helium Digital, a Canadian company specializing in trend forward accessories for digital devices, has announced the launch of their new BoomBuds In-Ear Headphones.
The HD-330 BoomBuds are lightweight, in-ear headphones designed to bring the bass in your music to life. The noise isolating angled design of the earbuds allows them to rest comfortably and securely within your ear, blocking out noise that may interfere with a comfortable listening environment
The HD-340 BoomBuds for Mobile are designed for use with combination audio and mobile phone devices, such as the Apple iPhone®. They have the same great audio features of the HD-330, with the addition of an inline microphone/ answer module that will allow you to take your calls directly from the headphones, ensuring you are in touch even while listening to your music.
Both models come with 2 different sizes of silicon inserts to ensure your headphones fit comfortably and securely. The rubberized cable will keep your wires tangle-free, and help to prevent the tugging and pulling of wires that is all too familiar to users of traditional wired headphones. The slim 3.5mm audio jack is designed for use with a variety of audio devices, including Apple's iPhone®, eliminating the need for special adapters in order to get your headphones to fit your device.
The HD-330 BoomBuds In-Ear Headphones have a suggested retail price of $19.99 (CAD). The HD-340 BoomBuds for Mobile have a suggested retail price of $24.99 (CAD). Both models are available for purchase direct from the Helium Digital website starting today.
Introductory offer! –For a limited time only, receive FREE EXPEDITED SHIPPING when purchasing either model direct from the Helium Digital web site. The free shipping offer is limit 1 per customer, and shipping costs will automatically be removed at checkout.
For more information on either model please visit the Helium Digital website at www.heliumdigital.com
I have never heard of these guys, but we are hungry for accessories and protection for our Zunes, right? This is a company called Agent 18 and they have Zune Gen 2 cases for $25 each!
Their Zune cases for the Zune 80 are called Dragon Shield. Nice Name.
The Zune 8 Cases are called Zune Flash Diamond Kit (Below)
This guy has some videos on YouTube showing some Zune 2 cases. There are quite a few videos, so you can check them out on their YouTube Profile Page... The videos are done by a wholesaler and their website is 4UStuff.
Disclaimer : I know nothing about this company, so I am not endorsing them. Just so you know.
Well, you could already skin your original Zunes, but now a couple companies are coming out with skins already for the next gen Zunes.
Me personally, I hate these things, but like my daughter, there are many that love the ability to customize. The low cost of these skins make it easy to change up the pace often.
On the left you have a Decal Girl Sample and on the right, one from the WraptorSkinz series from TuneTattooz. Over at Mobilitysite a few months back, I tried out one of the Skin iZi skins for an iPod Nano. They are cute, but not for me. Skin iZi only makes these for the iPods, it's good to know that other companies are getting on board with Zune.
So, right now, if you have a Flash Zune 2 or a Zune 30, both of these companies have skins for you. Unfortunately neither of them have Zune 80 skins yet, but it appears that they are coming soon...
Zunerama has published a demo of the Tune Tattoo skins for the Zune 30 and Flash Zunes too.
