Right now there are three available docks compatible with all the Zune models. I would really like to pick one up! There are two from Altec Lansing and one from VAF. I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken one for a spin! I'm inclined to go with the "newest" one which is the Altec Lansing iM414....
Everyone needs a case at some point for their phone or player right? Well, most people want to do this in style, so they toss the case that comes with their device aside. (If a device even comes with one) Enter the need for aftermarket cases. In the case of the Microsoft Flash Zunes, DLO has you covered already. They recently announced the HipCase for the Zune 4gb and 8gb flash players.
Constructed of fine-quality leather and featuring a soft, green fabric interior, HipCase is the easiest way to protect your Zune in style. HipCase's design gives you full screen protection, with play-through access to your Zune controls, as well as total access to the connector port – which means you can plug in and sync your Zune without having to remove it from your HipCase.
I am going to keep a running list of Zune 80 Cases available for purchase. I am not going to list multi device cases, just those that are made for the Zune 80. The list is going to be short for now, but as new models are released, I will add to it. If you know of one that is not listed, let me know.

Editor's Note: This is a really neat partnership. I personally use the Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 Pro earbuds and I really like them a lot. The other part of the partnership, MyVu makes a unique set of video glasses. One of our Editors at Mobilitysite, Jack Cook, reviewed these a while back and loved them. - Chris Leckness
Myvu Corporation, creators of the revolutionary myvu personal media viewers, today announced a partnership with Ultimate Ears, the leading manufacturer of custom in-ear-monitors to 80% of the world's top professional musicians and sound engineers. The partnership offers myvu users the same best-in-breed portable media viewing experience enhanced with Ultimate Ear's earphones for the entire myvu product line, including the new myvu solo plus and universal editions. '
"Audio quality is a major component of the entire myvu experience and a high quality earphone is critical," said Kip Kokinakis, president and CEO of Myvu Corp. "By partnering with Ultimate Ears, we offer users the industry's finest on-the-go viewing experience."
So, I modified the v1 kit to work with my 80, but what about my 30? Should I send the 30 to the graveyard? Naw, so I need to get a home for the 80 too. That said, I stopped by Wallyworld and picked up the v2 Home A/V Kit.
The Zune v2 Home A/V Kit costs $99 and to be quite honest, that's a tad overpriced for what it offers in my opinion.
What do you get?
If you are in the market for inexpensive earbuds, why not throw some color at your Zune. You could match the color of your flash zune with one of these!
Griffin Technology: TuneBuds (Color)
Update: Price is only $19.99
Vaja has some gorgeous leather cases for the Zune 30. I have the Balance case (second from the left) and I love it!
I received this email today regarding a case for the Zune 80 GB
"At present that model is not in our immediate manufacturing plans. Anyway, thank you very much for your interest in our cases,"
Here is a picture of my Zune 30 GB in its Vaja case. It's a nice tight fit. (Note: picture taken before firmware upgrade)
The 80 GB fits in it, and would work...but it's not a perfect fit.... (and of course, my new Zune 80 deserves a new case!)

There are several styles. We'll let you know when they get Zune 80 cases.

Update : Zune v2 Car Kit - Mini Review
Very Nice. I purchased one of these today and I am very impressed. Kind of expensive at $80, but worth it if you can afford it.
No need for batteries. Just plug into the DC Outlet in your car, plug in the Zune and dial up the frequency you want and you are rocking. I have a problem finding a good clean frequency to use here but this transmitter is more powerful that the Belkin I used to use and I only hear static when there is a pause in the audio. It's not a loud static and is not even noticable when the music is playing. I really need to sit down and test all frequencies to find the clearest for me in my area.
The pack comes with a non slip pad to place on your dash too. The display for frequency selection is a nice bright digital read out.
Features:
The original Zune dock works with the 2.2 software, but most importantly, it works with the new flash drives, the Zune 80, and the upgraded Zune 30.
